A piece of news from Morning of Wuhan (http://www.cnhan.com/gb/content/2007-12/03/content_844834.htm) said, the average score of Chinese IELTS test takers was the penultimate one of countries around the world, only before The United Arab Emirates. From the news, the global average score in 2006 was 6.06, but that of Chinese test takers was 5.53. That of Korean was 5.8, and Japanese was 5.7. The German average score was toppest in the world, 7.12. After that, the Indian average score standed on the second position.
In fact, it is not unexpected, because many Chinese test-takers always recite the examples, instead of saying or writing their own things. It is very awful if a lot of people say the same experience.
So the very important thing is to say or write our own experience, with a good structure and cohension. The only way to get a good score is to practice again and again, instead of reciting some example words.
