Now, more and more graduate students are not satisfied with the connections of supervisors to students in Chinese higher schools.
Many Supervisors want to take advantage of the graduate students to make money, because the students is the cheapest labors. they need not much money, and they should graduate so they have to do the valueless work.
Many Supervisors do not do scientific research, their brain are full of money, money, and money! So they always take many projects which they are not good at, and throw them to the students, but they don't know the essential of these projects and they are not able to refer the students. Many students are teaching themselves.
How do you think that Chinese scientific research will be better?
I think the main cause is the money. Money is the root of evil, but we need money to do more work. So they make more and more money, but they don't do more work.
So, the connections between supervisor and student is naked connection of money. they don't care of the students' life, they don't care of the students' research, they don't care of the students' knowledge, but they only care of whether the project makes money. :(
